About

I’m an engineering leader who has spent the last 17+ years shipping software - from network protocol stacks at Huawei in 2008, to game ports for Disney, to founding-engineer shifts on EdTech apps that scaled past 20M+ installs, to a $1M+ consulting pipeline at SuperLinear today.

I’m polyglot at heart - Ruby on Rails, TypeScript, Go, Kotlin and Swift all sit in muscle memory. I switch between writing the AWS architecture doc, mentoring a junior engineer, reviewing the React Native screen, and tuning the LLM prompt in the same afternoon.

Currently I’m VP of Engineering at SuperLinear Insights in Abu Dhabi, leading 10 engineers across FinTech, PropTech, LegalTech and e-Commerce. Before that I spent 9+ years at CoLearn and Byju’s as founding engineer / head of engineering for apps used by tens of millions of learners.

Products I'm building, AI experiments, and tooling I rely on day-to-day. Every card links to source or a beta-access mailer.

  • Featured - what I'm building right now

    CodeAtlas

    Founder / Engineering lead

Google Maps for codebases - with differential views. Zoom from system design down to a single function in six layers, see every diff overlaid live.

    Why I'm building this

Every engineer loses 2-4 weeks onboarding to a large codebase, then loses the system-knowledge again as architecture drifts faster than the docs. I have lived that pain at Byju's, CoLearn, and across every SuperLinear client engagement. CodeAtlas is the tool I wished existed: auto-derive L1 system-design through L5 control-flow from the AST, refresh on every save, and surface diff overlays so an architecture review takes minutes instead of days.

VS Code extension + standalone MCP server that ships diagrams for any codebase. Layered views (L1 system design → L2 feature clusters → L2b API list → L3 sequence → L4 file → L5 control-flow), baseline-vs-working diff cascade across all six layers, AI Code Review with evidence-gated findings, multi-repo monorepo support, Knowledge Map, Tour, and an API Testing workbench.

    Where it stands today

    • 11,500+ installs on Open VSX, 5.0★ rated (v7.0.0)
    • 2,300+ downloads of the @codeatlas/mcp agent on npm in the first 19 days of public release
    • 12+ languages indexed: JS/TS, Python, Java, Kotlin, Go, Rust, Ruby, PHP, Swift, Dart, C#, C/C++
    • 6 diagram layers per repo - system design → feature clusters → API list → sequence → file → control flow
    • Multi-repo verified on workspaces of 8 sibling repos, parallelised via worker_threads
    • Works with Claude Code, Cursor, Codex CLI, Antigravity, Continue, and any MCP-compatible agent
    • TypeScript
    • VS Code Extension API
    • MCP Protocol
    • React 18 + React Flow
